Ben
Owner
Ben has been in the cycling trade all his life. From working for MBR and Cycling weekly to selling to bike shops for the largest cycling distributor in the UK. Ben rides all types of bikes and has a huge knowlege of bikes from the golden era of mountain biking in the 90s to present day road bikes. Ben is the chairman of Gillingham and District Wheelers and an active member of the build crew at Okeford Hill bike park.
Max
Lead Mechanic
Max has incredible attention to detail, he'll go the extra mile to make sure your bike is running the best it can . He loves solving problems and will regularly be looking at ways to make your bike quieter or faster.
Mason
Mechanic
Mason is our newest member of the team, he's a dedicated mountain biker and loves getting his wheels off the ground. If he's not trying new tricks up The Hollow, hes fettling with his bike to get the best out of his set up.
Milo
Chief Vibes Officer
Meet Milo, the workshop dog at Wheels of Dorset Bike Shop. This lovely blonde cockapoo keeps the mechanics company while they work and happily greets customers with a wagging tail. Friendly and laid-back, Milo has become a much-loved part of the team and always helps make the shop feel welcoming.

My son & I arrived at the shop for advice and guidance on a gear indexing issue. Ben & Max were super friendly and took a genuine interest in both the bike and us generally.The shop had an open, fresh layout with a big TV screen streaming a downhill race event which helped amuse and inspire my son with his cycling endeavours.We discussed a few adaptation options with Ben promising a price match too.It's great to find a bike shop that delivers this level of knowledge and expertise in such a genuine manner. It goes a long way.

These guys are amazing. I had a bolt head shear off of my rear rack on a year-long cycle around Europe and they did absolutely everything to fix it at a moment's notice and at an absolute steal of a price. And we chatted a bit about cycle touring while doing the work. Go see them, you won't be disappointed!

Popped in on the off chance today after picking up a second hand BMX for our son. The back wheel was wobbling and the breaks were a little off. They said no probs we can get that sorted for you. Said it might be Monday but they did it same day so our son could get out on it. Super lovely guys and they even cleaned the bike over. Would happily come back again.

I bought my Diverge here and they were very helpful and friendly and even let me test the bike before buying. First bike I've ever bought and they have fixed every issue I've had with the bike over the last 2 years. Can't ask for more.
